Six months had passed since they had last been to Artoria. Six months ago, he and Bones had more or less proposed to each other.
Spock had married them on the ship yesterday, and they had made a special detour so that he and Bones could spend their honeymoon on Artoria.
The two of them were working side by side in the kitchenette, trying to make themselves dinner, but they were too excited about having just been married, and couldn’t seem to keep their hands off of each other.
Bones had him pressed up against the counter and was rubbing up against him like a horny teenager, sucking bruises along his neck. Jim laughed at Bones’ eagerness.
“Come on, Bones. Let’s move this into the bedroom.” Bones grinned and dragged him off towards the bed.
********
Jim was laughing his ass off, running down the beach towards the water, Bones chasing after him. He dove into the water, with Bones close behind him.
Jim was feeling giddy and playful. They had spent the past two days locked up in their room, and as much fun as that had been, he was enjoying being out on the beach and in the water. He started splashing Bones.
“You little brat,” growled Bones. The man was fast in the water. The next thing he knew, Bones had him dunked under the water.
Jim came up spluttering and laughing, and pulled Bones in for a slow, sweet kiss.
They splashed around in the water until both of them resembled wrinkled prunes, and headed back to their towels on the beach. It felt great lying there under the sun, the cats purring and meowing around him, and the fact that his husband was lying just next to him. He almost wished that he wouldn’t have to go back to the ship at the end of the week.
They stayed on the beach until the sun began to set and the temperature began to drop. They enjoyed a hot shower, where Bones dropped to his knees and had Jim seeing stars. Jim returned the favor, and they stayed in the shower, kissing under the hot spray until the water turned cold and they were forced to go warm up.
They found themselves in a familiar position after all of these years, sitting on the couch with Bones knitting. Jim was sitting next to him, but instead of helping him or watching him, he couldn’t help kissing Bones’ face, his jaw, and his neck.
“Damn it Jim, I’m trying to work here,” but there was only amusement in his voice.
“Come on Bones, you don’t really want to knit, do you?”
Bones laughed and threw his knitting to the ground. He pulled Jim onto his lap. They traded slow, lazy kisses. They were relaxing into their honeymoon now, taking advantage of the fact that they weren’t on the ship. Sure, they got their privacy, but they were the Captain and the CMO, so they were never really off duty.
They stayed on the couch for a while, just trading kisses, something Jim didn’t think he could ever get tired of. It was something they definitely didn’t do enough of. Jim was starting to get uncomfortable though, so he pulled away from Bones. Before he could get off his lap though, Bones spoke up.
“I love you Jim.” Bones was absolutely beaming at him. It was Jim’s goal in life to make sure that Bones smiled more often like that. He smiled back at Bones.
“I love you too Bones.”
Jim leaned in for one more kiss, before he got off of Bones’ lap and took his hand, leading him towards the bedroom. They spent the rest of their time on Artoria getting reacquainted with each other.

Alpha shift had just finished. It was his and Bones’ first shift back since their honeymoon. It seemed that, so far, Jim’s goal was right on track. He smiled as the door to their quarters swished open and Bones stepped through. He gave Bones a quick kiss before he gave him the bad news.
“Hey Bones.”
“Yeah Jim.”
“It is my unfortunate duty to inform you that…” Jim couldn’t even finish that sentence. He started laughing. Bones looked at Jim like he had gone crazy.
“I’m sorry Bones. It’s just that some of the crew are completely freaked out because you’re smiling.”
Bones just raised his eyebrow and laughed. Bones actually laughed at that. Jim had been worried that Bones would bitch about it. His life goal was definitely right on track.
When Bones had finished laughing, he kept a smile on his face and pushed Jim towards the bed.
“Well, that’s just too bad for them, isn’t it darlin’?”

And are you asking why facebook was deleted? I just decided I didn't want it anymore, so I got rid of it. I have other ways of contacting the more important people, so...yeah.
