A/N: This was a form of torture therapy. I have an absolutely legitimate excuse for my eye squick (as I’m sure Jim does). I’m better than I was a year ago though.

On Tuesday my boss came into work and showed me his red eye. It wasn’t terrible, but it was enough that I couldn’t look at him and it stuck with me enough to write this story. Wednesday his eye was worse but thankfully (after a bit of pestering on Tuesday) he kept his eye covered or closed around me. Today I could look at him again though, but that stupid red eye was still bugging me.

While I didn’t react like Jim does here this time, I have had similar reactions (and ones that were even worse). So, enjoy my misery?
